botanical garden

after an exhausting morning teaching class after class of teenage girls, we had a delicious ceviche lunch and made our way to the local botanical garden (not what you might imagine, more of just a mostly natural tropical dry forest with some trails right in town). first we heard all about the place and took a little stroll through the woods. then as some did a bit more strenuous work, i found myself in the shade painting signs with tree names that will soon label the trees of the garden. a wonderfully relaxing afternoon activity
