Vvvvvvvmmmmmmm
That's what Ben's saying in this picture. Vvvvvmmmmm vvvmmmmmm. Whatever he's playing with, it's flying - I think the car is flying on the sticklebrick or something like that. Imagination is an amazing thing isn't it.
Thankyou for all your support yesterday as well, you are all lovely people. I'm afraid my commenting is seriously lax at the moment. I do read everything - it's just I read things when I need cheering up so commenting is the last thing on my mind.
Ben watched Wall-E twice this morning, back to back. I sat in the kitchen and cried and then eventually was sick. I am grateful he stayed away from me... I did feel a WHOLE lot better after, if shaky and hungry and tired.
Spoke to the diabetes centre again today, the consensus is to just bypass my body's own insulin production system and do things manually. My body is capable of producing insulin, it just requires a lot more sugar in my bloodstream before something is triggered and it decides to do anything about it. That's why getting my medication levels right is proving to be so tricky. So we're treating me now as if I don't produce any by myself, which I think is going to be the only way of keeping levels within safe limits during the pregnancy.
That said, I forgot to take any with my tea just now.... well, not exactly forgot, just felt really sick and couldn't face a needle. Will start tomorrow.
Just got to make it through tomorrow by myself, and then it's the weekend. Dad's coming on Sunday evening to look after me and Ben during the week next week, and then it's Good Friday and Steve is off work for 11 days (including weekends and bank holidays) and by then hopefully I'll be feeling less rough or at least will have figured out a better coping strategy.
Ben and I had a three hour sleep this afternoon!! I declared I was going to bed, so I did. Ben wasn't ready for sleep but I was so I went to bed and Ben banged his wardrobe doors for a bit, then at some point he came and climbed into bed and fell asleep next to me. I don't quite remember him doing that but he was there when I woke up two hours later, snoring his head off. I went back to sleep and the next time I woke up Steve had come home.
That's the way to spend an afternoon in my opinion.
I spent another hour at least in bed, Steve hung the laundry out with Ben's help, and we put some music on and Ben danced and clapped (if you've seen Wall-E, think of Eve "dancing" when Wall-E puts the movie on for her to show her dancing in his little pod) (thumping up and down making the whole house shake) and made us both smile.
I think I waited too long to eat though so I've only managed a single dessicated over-cooked sausage (note to self, microwave OR fry; don't fry then try and finish off in the microwave) and one waffle. I think Ben actually ate more than me.
Anyway. Ben has pooed YET AGAIN but I am waiting for Steve to get home from smallgroup to deal with that. He has done little stinky poos with each nappy change today. I think it's deliberate. I can't stand the smell but I can't bring myself to change yet another poopy nappy. Had enough and want to go to bed! Ben is NOT sleepy yet though...
