Tulips

Nothing more Dutch than Tulips, right? Actually, they grow pretty much all over the world. But as they feature on 50% of Dutch postcards, I think they count as 'typically Dutch'. These ones bloom every spring in our backyard, opening towards the sun in day and closing for the night in the late afternoon as the sun disappears behind our house.
