After a long wait, I finally got the chance to sneak outside and get a photo of the junkyard we created during training for vehicle extrication. This was definitely a highlight.

Today we started to wind down. It was an admin day: getting computer access, talking about some critical policy, discussing our first day as a rookie and learning about critical incident stress. We have our final recruit school exam on Monday and then practical skill evaluations on Tuesday. Can't believe we've come so far already.
