If Lost Please Call
Today has been one of those absolutely wonderful days thus far. I woke up to Stine poking me and yelling at me. Looked at my phone had 4 emails (not from her), and 5 texts (from assorted peoples, and 16 missed calls (ALL from her). She really really wanted to go rollerblading. So we went. My second time at the Mid-hudson Walkway in two days and it was again a lovely day out. We rollerskated across halfway, might I add that is QUITE the workout. My legs are tired. This was one of the items on the "To Do With StinePie Before She Graduates" list. :) 2 down 10 to go...
When I got back I went to eat lunch with Ali and Jordan. There was a very large chocolate bunny sitting on top of a table with a box of candy next to it the entire time we were there. I noticed when I walked past it that it said on the front "If Lost Please Call 267-***-9972". If I lost my chocolate bunny I'd want someone to return it, so I called. No answer, so I texted. The following conversation occurred:
Me: I found your bunny!
Bunny Owner: Thank you so much! Where was it?
Me: the cafeteria! What should I do with it?
BO: Go ahead and keep it! Thanks for letting me know though, I can't believe I lost it!
....
me: One last question...is it poisoned?
BO: haha not unless my grandmom poisoned it before she mailed it to me...highly doubtful
So now I have a chocolate bunny the size of my forearm sitting on my desk staring at me. And I'm hoping Bunny Owner's grandmom is a nice lady and didn't poison it.
Also, found out today that I am Interviewer of the Month at work! Yayy me! Such a lovely day :)
As some of you know, this past February I lost a good friend of mine. This June I will be walking with a bunch of my friends in her memory at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's Out Of The Darkness walk in NYC. My goal is to raise $700 and our teams goal is to raise $5000. Proceeds benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, funding research, education, and awareness programs - both to prevent suicide and to assist those affected by suicide To visit my donation page or learn more click here! Every dollar counts, no amount is too small. It'll all add up in the end and your generosity is appreciated. Thank you :)
