Screen Star

This is J engrossed in the computer. Both boys are obsessed with screens, it doesn't matter what type - TV, computer, iphone - they're not fussy. C was sitting right next to him waiting for his turn.

We limit screen watching, but with the recent school holidays that ruling had lapsed somewhat as I tend to relax and let them be a bit. Now it's a case of weaning them off little by little until they're back to an acceptable time staring at a screen as well as some time interacting with the rest of us, or just playing with some good old fashioned toys or even books!!

C is still off school for another week - fortunately for me, C loves the creche at the gym, it's got a big slide and a ball pit so he's keen to go, which in turn keeps Mummy happy for an hour or so in the morning. The fact that I went to yoga for the elderly by mistake today instead of my regular yoga class is a whole other story, suffice to say, I still enjoyed it .....!

I've just realised that the thumbnail at the bottom of this page shows what I was blipping this time last year - yay, I've been doing this (sporadically) for a whole year!
