Japanese pottery

Blipping has fallen by the wayside at the moment due to work commitments. In desperation on friday night took this out the 'Rock Snot' cafe and yes that is its real name. Good pizza too. The original photo was a bit average to say the least but when I cropped it it reminded me of a Japanese lacquered vase pattern so have decided to run with it
