Liam Gets Braces

This morning Liam got his braces as well as the rapid palatal expander. I expected him to be sore, but he didn't complain one bit. He chose two tones of green for the bands and we watched a 'caring for your braces/teeth' video, took his picture before leaving and they showed me how to expand his palate 3 days a week. Ahhhhhh! They also sent him home with a bag full of items to care for his braces, a ball cap with the orthodontist's name on it and a Jamba Juice gift card. He's starting to feel like going to the orthodontist is similar to visiting Disneyland. :D

It was another crazy busy night with all 3 boys playing baseball (where Liam proudly showed off his new braces and green mouthguard to everyone)....but it ended nicely when everyone got to have a slice of Gary's belated BD dessert of brownie chocolate chip cheesecake.
