Today's the day ..................... for an evening in

On Thursday evenings I go to choir practice with Kendal Choral Society where we practise things like Faure's Cantique de Jean Racine, Mendelssohn's Richte mich, Gott or Bruckner's Locus iste. Will on the other hand goes off to Burgundy's Wine Bar and listens to jazz.

He takes his sketchbook with him and while he's listening - he paints. This is Mel Dod, trumpeter extraordinaire, who was performing in the group last night.

Tonight, however, it being a Friday night - at the end of a hard working week - we're both in together. There will be a bit of eating and drinking going on and we'll be listening to some music that we both like.
