Cinco de Mayo

I was surprised by the crowds on the beach during my early morning walk until I realized it was Cinco de Mayo. We are close enough to the state of Puebla that at least some people in our area were able to celebrate the Mexican army's victory over the French in 1862. There were many families already in the water by the time I arrived, including this one. As is typical (at least in our family) the dad and daughter are busy having fun while the mom is busy schlepping the gear and cleaning up. I think the hats are a nice touch too.
