Mother's Day

Today is Mother's Day and the photo is my son Ryan and I. He is the most important person in my life. I feel like just yesterday I was holding him in my arms, reading bedtime stories (we did that every night). I cherish every moment, every memory, and look forward to many more. Today we went to Red Robin for lunch and had a really nice time. (my husband and stepson went to his sisters, they had a dinner there, but I had already madebplans w/my son and we didn't want to go there. Usually it's way too stressful to be around some people and I wanted to enjoy my time w/my son...which I did!! Then shopping at Target. The rest of the day was lazy and peaceful for me. Weather rained on and off. Took Goldie and Chaka for a walk which was a chore. I should have left Chaka home. She just about ripped my arm off she pulls so hard! I would think her neck would hurt, but I guess not. Next time she gets the gentle leader!! She doesn't care for it, but I don't know how to get her to stop pulling. It doesn't hurt her though. She is very strong in both muscle and spirit! That about covers my day! Oh, and this morning I saw a Bullock's Oriole at my backyard feeder!! What a treat! First one I have ever seen in real life! Now I'm listening to the sweet songs of the birds outside getting ready for bed. I do love the sounds of nature. God's sweet music! Thanks everyone for the nice comments!
