After the Alpini weekend, it was surprising that the city was clean this morning, as noted by Roberto's mum. Quite incredible, considering it usually takes twice as long for everything to get done here.

For 5 weeks I've basically had to shout to be heard. There's no such thing as being impolite if you speak over someone in a conversation. In fact, it's the norm. If you wait for someone to finish what they're saying (like I do), they think you don't understand or not interested.

So, with that in mind, I'm really excited about being in London for 2 weeks as of tomorrow! Been culture shocked enough!
