What a domestic day.
The first day of my 'holiday' in London was filled with domestic duties. Couldn't believe they weren't done before I arrived!! As the Maid of Honour commented awhile ago when her friend said a marriage is the start of a happy life, "No, life is really good now when the world revolves around me and stuff at home magically gets done by whoever."
We're not pessimistic. Just very realistic people with very realistic expectations of our marriages.
Roberto has never been to Ikea before so we made a quick trip there and bought some new pillows. Across the road was a big Tesco's and we did some grocery shopping too. I took this photo because I miss stores that are open 24 hours. Here's the question from Roberto at that moment,"Where does it say 24 hours?" I couldn't say anything to that.
Had my first English Breakfast tea in over a month and also cooked dinner in over... I don't know how long. My right hand was shaking from stirring the chicken in tikka masala sauce.
No, I'm not really ready for 'marriage'. Haha!
