Every breath you take.
Evening all,
Its an odd thing this photography lark isn't it.
There is a little bit of it that makes me feel a little like a voyeur, its ok when i'm out on my own in the countryside taking photos of things, but when i'm in some urban public space i begin to feel a little intimidated and get some funny looks when i whip out the camera to take a picture.
It makes me feel like a cross between a peeping tom, an industrial spy or a forward planner for an ultra right wing terrorist organisation.
Even in my own house i'm not immune to this, trying to take a picture of the sparrows in the front hedge this evening without disturbing them, gently parting the slats of the venetian blinds with the glass end of the telefoto lens i got some slightly aggrieved looks from people passing by on the pavement, who were having a good old nosy through my front windows
so they can look in at me, but i can't look out at them, because i'm holding a telefoto lens and may be taking pictures of their nasal hair for publication on a specialist website.....
and i've noticed that the people over the road seem to have their curtains closed a lot more since i've taken up with a camera.
i shall call you all for character witnesses, (or implicate you as accessories) when the police come knocking in the morning......
