Poppy

We had a good start with the weather today, but it's increasingly looking like it might rain.

I walked the dog this morning and did two loads of washing before nipping back along to the same spot as yesterday, to photograph some of the beautiful flower beds in Mewsbrook Park. The wind had blown the petals from a lot of them, but I managed to find this one relatively in tact. Once I had it in front of me on the computer, I decided to tweak it a little, so apologies if it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I rather liked the effect of a bit of added contrast.
