'Fol-de-Roll'

A strange day, weather-wise. Mostly trying to rain but occasional bright spots.
(But only when the wrong lens or no lens was available!)
Not at all good for pictures.

Went for a walk along the Thames.
The bird-life looked drab on the pictures, which it wasn't, but it was one of those days when 'you had to be there'.
Even the water scenes looked dull and uninteresting.

So, it's another macro shot. A kind of crane fly perhaps?

This macro lens business is playing havoc with our Sunday walks.
I keep up the rear, at least ten yards behind,
'wummaging awound in the bushes', as I go.
Like David Bellamy.
But without the beard (to date).

The silly title? I was devoid of inspiration. But the song 'Billy Goats Gruff' was being an ear-worm (don't ask). And the fly seems sort of lying in wait...
