Speckledy

Well this is what we think to be Miranda's second egg, she laid a soft one a few days ago, and other strange egg situations which we think are hers as it's her first laying season. Yesterday she laid a small fairly normal coloured, maybe slightly darker egg. And this afternoon after school I found this little beauty.

It is still really small, but it's really speckled with dark brown. And we were told that there is a 70% chance of fully dark brown eggs, maybe these speckles mean that her eggs will soon become that dark colour. It'd be nice, but either way the speckled ones are lovely too.

Fairly ordinary day, won't go into detail, it was school, came home early taught again, laid out in the sun for a bit and played with the hens. Standard.
