Baby Charlie seems to be surrendering to Auntie Rachie in this blip.

Charlie came home from hospital today, she's now installed with her proud parents and has been asleep for five hours. The Son and Heir and Young Helen seem really happy about this..........I didn't have the heart to tell them that she probably won't sleep too much tonight.....they'll find out soon enough.


She's feeding well and seems quite content with the world, the S & H and YH seem to have grown up over night and every one is over the Moon with her. Mind you, the parents have bought me one of those diamonds for sticking in the back window of my car.......no, not Baby Onboard........the cheeky sods have gone for Caution Grandparent Driving!...they forget, we Grandads have long memories.......there will be revenge!

Isn't it always the case though, that when you're feeling great there's always someone to p*ss on your chips! We got the long awaited phone call at work today......two day inspection later this week.......so a frantic day preparing tomorrow and then two days jumping through someone else's hoops just to prove what we already know.

We're going to leave Charlie and her parents until the ordeal is over (to be fair we were going to anyway so they can establish their own routines and everything) so don't expect any baby blips or even jokey ones until Friday!
