yellow treasure

surprisingly, a beautiful yellow visitor on a gray, overcast day... i've no idea what this bird is - rarely do i see anything other than a robin, a house finch or the big black bird in my yard...

so when i saw a flash of yellow fluttering in the tree overhead, it was everything i could do to remain quiet. internally, i was doing the happy dance - hoping my little camera might do it justice; knowing it probably wouldn't... not really caring. i only was interested in soaking up the treasure of the moment with this pretty yellow bird, brought for one brief minute into my yard...
