It's a dogs life!

Which one am I?

Here I am with my best friend Daisy! We had a lovely afternoon walking along the coastal path.

She is a week younger than me but you wouldn't think so because she is VERY bossy! She steals my ball and my stick all the time. Whatever I have got she wants. I always let her have it. I don't mind. I like sharing. She NEVER lets me share hers though!

We had a great walk and I showed her how I jump in all the pools. Do you know what? For all her bossiness, Daisy is scared of water!!! Tee hee. I would jump in and get the stick and she would wait on the edge then steal it from me as I got out! What a chicken ;-)

It was lovely running along with her and her big sister Polly. Polly doesn't run around. She is a black lab too but she is reeeeaaaalllly old. She is 10! Wow! I'm never going to be that old.

On our way back to the car we met one of the ladies from my puppy class that I did a while ago. I was excited to see her and her doggies but then mum put the lead on and we all walked together as she was parked near us. But, OH NO......I DID NOT want to go back to the car. As soon as we left the field I lay down on the floor and refused to move. Mum and the lady walked on, like mum has been doing, and they ignored me, but still I didn't get up. I just stared at them, then put my head on the ground. I wasn't getting up for either of them. So then the lady said to mum for her to tie me to the gate post and leave me! and SHE DID. She tied me up and left me. They both walked off, I could see them, but do you know what, I DIDN'T CARE, I just had a sniff round and started eating something yummy by the gate.

The lady had to go then so left mum to it. Mum was VERY Cross and had a VERY red face. She came back to get me and was a bit grumpy. She did put a treat on the end of my nose though so I thought I would trot along with her for a bit until she gave it to me. It took us a while to get back to the car. Tee hee.

Mum is a bit upset because the lady (who has trained LOADS of doggies) was quite astounded at my stubbornness. She said she had NEVER EVER seen another doggie like it. Just when we thought we were getting somewhere too....

Maybe I will try and make it up to her tomorrow?

Bye for now
