Ninja Tunes

There are days when I know my wife would rather I spent less time sweating over a photo to post on blip and spent more time actually paying attention to what she's saying. However there are days when she agrees to dress up as a ninja so that I can continue with my record label theme and I realise she doesn't really mind. Sign of true love that is.

Ninja Tunes, founded by Coldcut, is a record label that's been around for a long time and the quality of their output rarely waivers. Their thing is pretty much down-tempo, jazzy, broken beats with a bit of dancefloor spice thrown into the mix. I've never religiously bought their releases (apart from those by the mighty Cinematic Orchestra), but the regular compilations they put out are definitely essential purchases.
