Mo Wax
It was my wife on Friday, me yesterday, so it's only right that the third member of the family has his shot at interpreting a record label. This time he's chosen to show off his turntable skills in tribute to the instrumental hip-hop that came out of James Lavelle's Mo Wax label in the early 90's. For me it was a label that burned brightly initially and then faded away into a series of repetitive releases, low on quality control. Still nothing can top the first Headz compilation and the seminal Entroducing from DJ Shadow - turntable fixtures to this day.
Here's a favourite from the headz compilation and a little something from Mr Shadow.
