Meet Bandon

Well here is the 5th member of our family and as I will often say when he's been naughty, the 3rd child I never wanted. I say this laughing though. His name is Bandon, he was named by my husband after Bandon Dunes Golf Course in Oregon. He's nearly 4 years old and full of life most the time. Clearly annoyed by my picture taking as you can see by his expression of "please stop" in this picture.

Let me tell you that everyone warned me when we were deciding on a puppy to not do it that my kids were too young and it would be a lot of work. Naturally I didn't listen and we went ahead. Shortly after getting Bandon, my husband left to work several months out of town so house training him along with everything else was up to me. He was a handful. The first couple years of his life he had a taste for electronics. We lost an ipod, blue tooth, garage door opener, speaker wires, sprinkler wires, our boat trailer wires etc due to his love for wires. He would chew them to peices. He's finally calmed down and is a great, loving, energetic and devoted dog. Each night he sleeps next to my son on his bed and is the first to greet you when you walk in the door.

It's been a long four years and as much as I say he annoys me...I really do love him (shhhh.... don't tell my husband!).
