Mock orange
If only blip pictures were scratch and sniff! These are some of the flowers on a large mock orange bush on the road outside our office. The smell is amazing - particularly today when we had huge downpours and then bright intervals of sunshine. I photographed these on a quick dash down to the post office at lunch time between showers. They are close to a main road and I think you can see some of the dirt from the traffic on the creamy white petals.
Busy day today as a low priority job suddenly became top priority. Had a crash course in xhtml and then had to get going on some pages for our new websites. They will need to be finished tomorrow so that our new pages can go live soon.
Back home long enough for a sandwich and then off to a full governors meeting. Lots to discuss including a change in uniform. Luckily we were not too long-winded in our discussions so I was able to make it onto book group number 2 only a half an hour late. One of our members became a grandmother today as her daughter had a caesarian six weeks before her due date. The little boy and mum seem to be OK. Hope to meet them both at a later book group meeting.
Now ready for bed.
