...Time may change me....
into a normal human being for a week.
This was the time I started the engine this afternoon to leave the car park, not to return for a week. Yay...half term holiday. This half term has been the longest 3 and a half weeks ever, thanks to the visit, which threw everyones plans up into the air, made us all edgy and bad tempered, and then left a legacy of tasks that needed catching up before we broke up.
Friday night and I can't be bothered, should have gone to a booze up to celebrate the holiday but virtually no-one on the staff can be bothered. The Boss and I are just chilling out drinking a bottle of champagne to celebrate being grandparents and I've just smoked my last Cuban cigar.
My job has been re-jigged at work following the report of the inspection so that's a new challenge facing me and something to aim at for the next three years. Who knows, I might even be thinking about retirement by then.
Big sporting weekend coming up, Champions League Final tomorrow, big fishing match Sunday.............and then friends and relatives round on Monday to meet Charlie.......and the possibility that we'll be off to hebs on Tuesday to meet a fire eater!
The excitement never stops round here let me tell you!
