Vester

This is Vester. He was in my room in the apartment. My bed had stars on it, and Vester and a big teddy bear to keep me company. I wanted to take him as a present for Milly the Cat, but Mum said he had to stay.

Our week in Menorca is sadly over. We've had a fabulous time, it's such a beautiful island. Orla really enjoyed it too. We're not quite home yet - our flight back was to Leeds-Bradford so we're staying with Orla's Grandma and Grandad in Yorkshire tonight and heading back on the train tomorrow. Orla has been very funny this week and keeping us highly entertained. Some of the things she has said include:

"Close your eyes" [we close our eyes, she goes away to get us a present] "Open your eyes, it's a present!" [which is usually something that Orla wants herself].

She has been doing lots of singing, mainly the Wheels on the Bus (sometimes substituting lyrics for other activities, such as going to the beach), One, Two, Three, Four, Five, and Humpty Dumpty (with actions - at the water park she slide off the side of the pool into the water at the "fell of the wall" bit).

She wanted a Gruffalo plaster, and when told you only get a plaster if you've hurt yourself, proceeded to trip over in a very theatrical fashion and announce that she had hurt her foot in the fall, and therefore needed a plaster. "Look a bruise, Mummy, it needs a plaster". She didn't get one.
