Hanging with the Taylors

We had a great day with our friends, the Taylors. Ron has known Scott for a long time and I met Myriam when she was first pregnant with her daughter (now 4). She's exactly one month ahead of me - due on July 8 (I'm due on August 8!). It's been fun sharing the experience with her . . . and since this is the second time around for them, Ron and I are totally picking their brains on what to expect, what things we should buy to make our lives easier, and stuff like that.

Today M and I hit up a baby consignment shop that happens to be just a block from my house - I found some amazing deals! For $80 I bought a bouncy chair, a co-sleeper, a contoured diaper changing pad, a mesh sling-type thing that cradles the baby in the tub durning bath time, a cute nursing cover-up, and three outfits! I was definitely impressed with this place - the other consignments shops I've checked out have been a total disappointment.

Then the five of us went to lunch and hung out at the beach. I woke up super early to video Ron surfing so now I'm totally zonked! I'm headed off to bed. :)
