SOUTHERN BLACK BACKED GULL

Southern Black Backed Gull - Target species for today.

I like the Southern Black backed Gull. Its a big bird and it has a sort off ugly head with a non symetrical yellow beak and a flat head.
They fly beautifully - spending a lot of time gliding. Having said that they are fast and agile when they want to be and they can give their smaller cousins a good going over in mid-air.

So here you have it - the Southern BB landing.
