Mint Moth

Today I did a walk check in the city, and accidentally found myself in a camera shop buying the macro lens I have been lusting after for some time now. The creature to which the honour goes of being the first blip taken with my new macro is this tiny micromoth which I have noticed often in my herb garden and which I believe glories in the name Pyrausta aurata, commonly known as the mint moth. Clearly, it's not quite that fussy as it seems equally at home on sage, rosemary, garlic chives, and as seen here on golden marjoram
