Where *is* the leader?

I was so totally bummed late this afternoon. We had gone out shopping for the day and it was getting later and later. I still had nothing to Blip. Shopping just doesn't cut it because we do it so infrequently, I cannot step away for even a moment to think about a clever capture! I must concentrate on shopping! (yes, living in the boonies is a blessing, but also carries some responsibilities!)

My husband had shopped at Lowe's and was pulling out of the parking lot. The vehicle behind him probably wanted him to make a "right on red",but I hollered "Stop"! My husband halted and I was able to snap away for several shots...I was pleased as punch. I LOVE this photo.

The weather here today was hot, hot, hot, but with an amazing breeze. The breeze was so strong, it could literally close an open car door on one!! The geese were making their way through this field of (very) tall grass with only their heads bobbing up and down. The colors were so rich in the golden sinking sun....
