A moment of history

Sandringham is a good visit. A liveable in country house with lovely grounds and an excellent museum. Interesting to hear that when HM goes for out of season visits she stays on a farm on the estate. She pretty well always goes to church - meets the churchwarden outside walks in and takes a pew sitting with him/her, and the congregation is asked to pay no attention. Of course on the official visits it's all very different - royal pews and all.

Anyway, in 1974 Princess Annes car was attacked in London by a gunman as she was going to the theatre. Her chauffeur and detective were both shot and wounded. This is the car.
