Sports Day at the Bois

Today the BCT hosted a Sports Day at my favourite park and I volunteered to help out, thinking I know a little about sport, and how hard can it be?

I was on Egg and Spoon duty. Is that really a sport??

It turned out to be lots of fun, but slightly embarrassing when my own daughter completely cheated by holding the spoon in one hand and the egg in the other and racing ahead. So, that's not the 'sport' for her, but she was pretty damn good in the sack race and didn't fall over once!

My husband played in the Dad's football match without warming up, so I'm expecting all kinds of complaints later on. He once pulled his hamstring on the dance floor (in our younger days) whilst trying to impress me with some kind of Matrix move. I wasn't impressed.

However, face painting was the winner again today for so many of the children, so my blip is of the paint pots. It was so nearly a picture of my daughter in the egg and spoon race, but didn't want to bring shame upon the family so soon after joining Blipfoto!
