Sunday Ball Game

On Sunday's my husband plays on our church softball league. Last year was our first year of playing, we both played however this year I decided I enjoyed it more as a spectator than a player. Something about a ball firing into home plate as you are running to it just had me far too anxious so this year I refrained from playing.

We enjoy going as a family and watching Dad play. This is Jack watching Dad play today. The weather held out for about half then game and then out of nowhere rain came in and we all were soaked. No one was prepared for rain as it was not in the forecast.

It's funny because Jack quite enjoys the role reversal on Sunday's when it comes to watching Dad play softball. Normally its Dad telling Jack on the field what he needs to be doing but on Sunday it is Jack's turn to critque him. Sometimes Dad has to eat a little crow and realize it's all easier said than done. On that note....I'll close this blip ;)
