Cock up!

Today was my birthday and had planned on going over to the island of Gigha as it was having a music festival picnic. However due to the cock up with our horrible Scottish weather, I didnt go and ended up spending my boifday home alone with just the dogs for company as everyone else was away .
Then decided to go to Glasgow in the evening and managed to catch up with #1 daughter who had left the island and had just arrived in Glasgow then was re packing as she was heading straight out the door to get the overnight bus with her pals to go to London. #1 son did give me a birthday card he had bought for soemone else about a year ago but it was the thought that counted!

This was also the first time I had ever slept in the Glasgow house alone in all my 55 years! was a bit scary at first but I did settle as I had the dogs but I appereciate how my mother felt the first time she had to do it!
