Follow the Leader

P and I spent the day at anchor in Clam Bay, Thetis Island. Slept in, read, caught up, took a tour of the anchorage in our dinghy, just enjoyed the day. Relaxing, no have-to's, no schedule. Lovely. We say lots of great wildlife and I have a great shot of turkey vulture, wings up, poised for flight.

However, I really like these geese. We think this was 2 families, swimming together. Two adults in the front, two at the back. We followed them for quite a while, until the "elder" goose began to get upset, Here he is walking his tribe back down the beach to safety. It was crystal clear who was in charge. ;-) very fun.
