This is a picture of Eve helping her Daddy lift the parquet flooring from her bedroom floor today in the first move towards upending our household and moving our kitchen into her room...

It is also the day before we go on holiday so preparations are being made for people to come into our house and do some dirty work whilst we sun ourselves in the Algarve...

It has also been massively stressful and the house is stuffed to the rafters with Eves rooms contents, kitchen carcasses from ikea and various appliances. Plus the Watsons, who also take up a great deal of space and create a great deal of mess...

I don't think this will be an easy process, especially since I didn't actually manage to book the Ikea delivery properly (thankfully they managed to fit us in anyway..) did manage, however, to break the car (we are flying from Newcastle tomorrow afternoon, thankfully we managed to get a train at great cost which will get us there in time) and buy the wrong booster seat (hoping that they will have a spare one at the car rental place in Portugal)...
