Busy Bees

On either side of the path to the front door are thick borders of lavender. It is so good to see the large number of bees that are so busy working the flowers. I sat among them, trying to take the definitive shot but they are constantly on the move with wings all aquiver. I hoped for a more macro shot but this is (again) work in progress!
After a dull start the sun has come out, hurray. I am now about to drive down to the Derby area to visit my non-blipping daughter. Haven't seen her for awhile so we'll have lots to talk about. It will also be another opportunity to blip Frank, her BIG black cat.
