Anyone for tennis?

Ann came with me for a walk to the High Pond today. All the usual suspects were there with the addition of this spaniel and his master. Their party trick was for the master to throw the ball into the water, instruct the dog to wait until the ducks had a chance to play with the ball and then to encourage the dog to enter the water slowly to retrieve the ball. Impressive and fascinating to watch. The dog seemed more afraid of the ducks than vice versa.
