Mayo Bound

On a few days off, so hit the road to Mayo to visit my friend, who is a ranger there. Arrived at about 6.30 or so. The last time I was here I climbed Crough Patrick on a beautiful day at the end of July. The sun shone again on this visit and my friend told me that I would never believe her again when she complains about all the bad weather in the West.

We caught up over a bottle of wine and a homemade Shephard's Pie. It was an early night as she had to be up for work early next morning to do a bird survey.
