Dull Day

Today is a wet grey one. It was a struggle to find something bright and cheerful to blip.

We went out for a coffee and I took a series of photos of drips, but in the end felt that this was a much happier capture - though not truly representative of the day! Earlier in the year the owners of the Red Barn Cafe and Animal Park approached our art teacher to see if she or our students would design a mural for the back of one of the animal shelters. This is the result.

The students visited the park, chatted to management and observed the animals and birds in their surroundings then went back to school and each student submitted a design. This one depicting turkey, horse and sheep on a sunny day was selected and then the students created it on site.

It is a lovely splash of colour on a day like today.
