Classic
Tonight was cruise night in town.
The owners of all types of vintage, classic, and "show" cars get together at a local pub to show off their vehicles. Some have been lovingly restored, some need a bit of work, but all were awesome!
I have a thing for cars. Muscle cars. Shiny classics. Anything that rumbles when you start it. I'd be a professional mechanic if I could stop the grease from getting stuck under my finger nails. No really...I was the only girl who took four years of auto class in high school. I worked as an apprentice at a gas station for a year and I've rebuilt an engine or two. Ok, that was over 20 something years ago and these days I'd rather drive them than fix them.
Anyway, my intent this evening was to get a few images worthy of hanging on my office walls. It was harder than I thought. Cramped spaces, lots of people, and weird reflections in the shiny paint. I think it was more a learning experience. They come back every Friday through the rest of the summer so I have time to practice. And something fun to do on a Friday evening. :)
Oh, the air conditioning was thankfully fixed Monday night and the new oven was delivered and installed today. It was a good week!
