All Worn Out

The boys spent yesterday over at my inlaws house, Grandma and Granpa's. Scott and I had a funeral we attended then afterwards ran a few errands and had an early, quiet dinner out. The boys decided they wanted to have a sleep over there so despite not having packed a single thing for them, we went ahead and let them stay.

When we picked them up today they both seemed quite sleepy. Turns out at 2am Grandpa heard a crash like sound come from the bedroom the boys were sharing a bed in. Carter was apparently so excited about his cousins legos which are kept there that he woke up at 2am, proceeded to dump three boxes of lego kits out and start building. Of course turning the light on and waking up his older brother. That boy LOVES his lego's!

As soon as we arrived home Carter announced he was going up to his room. I went up a few minutes later to check on him and this is what I found, him fast asleep. He slept for 4 hours until I went back in and woke him up. He was reluctant to wake but finally managed to open his eyes and make his way downstairs.

I just loved how peaceful he looked in this picture.
