So Your Camera's Back In Action !
I couldn't resist this wee blue tit in the tree in our garden. He seemed to be posing for the camera and my new lens.
Yes the camera is working . After all the drama of getting to the " bust stop" in time ( so glad you all had a good chuckle at my typo - but an apt one as I thought the camera was bust /kaput ).
There seemed to be nothing wrong with it. I checked it out on the bus and it was working. There was I heading for Glasgow, just as well the trip costs nothing with my bus pass! Anyway I still headed straight from Buchanan Street down to Hope street to find the repair place closed. Not sure if they're on holiday or just close at 4 o'clock. So then it was a case of power walking back up to Sauciehall Street to Jessops where I had bought the camera. They were very helpful, played about with it but couldn't find anything wrong with it.
Off course I just had to look at the lenses ,didn't I ! Well I was in need of a replacement macro./ close up lens. Headed to the other camera shop had a look around there and got a new Sigma lens, less expensive than the canon..
My 14 year old grandson is here on holiday for the week and he enjoyed using it as much as I did. We both got a lot of bird shots in the garden and on the shore. With practice I reckon I will get used to the extra weight and be able to pan birds in flight.. Well that's the theory.
