Not the most interesting photo, but still marvelling at the novelty of actually having a macro setting that works on my camera. It's pretty, too.

Today eldest child's friend was still here, so more playing etc occurred. Fairly sure nothing thrilling happened.

Oh, well, it turns out A's visa has been denied. She was originally planning to stay in France next year, but due to her not having gone to school all year (and having been on a student visa), she's not allowed back into the country past the 4th September. She's gonna try for a job either in Denmark or Amsterdam, so I'm just keeping my fingers crossed she'll be in Europe next year. Bloody Americans :p
