Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

In the Juniper

Picked up Tatum from "camp"(with a friend's Dad who loves kids and the outdoors) today at 2:00. it's in a city park where they hike and build a dam in the creek and get wet and muddy and wash hands in the creek. Since it was raining pretty well today i guess they found shelter for lunch. When we go to pick her up she is always climbing this wonderful old Juniper, polished smooth by generations of small hands. Then we went to the Seattle Art Museum to see the 19th C landscape paintings, (A highlight, Puget Sound on the Pacific Coast by Bierstadt), some contemporary responses to the landscape (AND snacks and the giftshop!) but I couldn't resist the photo of this tree. (Could it be I'm missing the island??)

Went to the Apple store this morning for a onetoone about their program, Aperture. I have lots to learn, but think it does a fine job with RAW and organizing. So we'll see......
