A day off....

Spent the morning reading, in my lovely little office that overlooks the pond and the garden, i love this room! Finally i've gotten myself immersed in a new novel...been struggling over the past week....tried about 4 books, none of them grabbed me...A Thousand Splendid suns, by Khaleo Hosseini (The Kite Runner guy!)...set in Afghanistan, so you know it's gotta be intense..and it is!!!

Spent the afternoon at Uisga Ban Falls....we got there a bit later than usual, around 4sh, so the light was already doing an interesting thing.....i trailed behind everyone taking lots of images of the light as it changed and spotlighted ferns, leaves and this - don't know what it's called but i loved the look of it!

Time to go prepare supper!
