Away for the weekend from Friday late afternoon so no internet, and now catching up, though slowly. Seems to be an internet problem, but I don't complain .... where would we be without the internet? Without Blipfoto, that's where!

Wandering around Alnwick Friday evening looking for a place to eat and spotted these windows. Pre Blip I would never have spotted these windows!

Poked our heads in the door and fortunate enough to get a table in The Art Cafe for our meal. Absolutely delicious, and in the presence of Michael Portillo, and after his Train Journeys TV series, if it's good enough for him and his crew, it's good enough for us. In fact it was excellent, and although I love "remote" holidays, it was a real treat to stagger back to our B&B replete, rather than having to drive umpteen miles along single track roads to reach our bed for the night.
