My Big Fat Gypsy Phone Cable Theft.

Well, that's who the police reckon did it, anyway!

While what seemed like dozens of BT engineers worked heroicly day and night to replace the 600m of phone cable, wires under lifted-up manhole covers and circuit boards in units by the road which were stolen in the early hours of Thursday morning, their lack of 'customer service' was astounding, culminating in being told a full 24-hours into it that they had no knowledge of any problems in our area. Eh? I feel more like Michael Douglas in 'Falling Down' every day.....
