Big Tom
I was determined to have a lie in this morning. It necessitated earplugs and a pillow on my head, but I managed. The kids had a french lesson, during which Mr B and I finished moving the rest of the stuff we needed to move out of the MBH, and had time to get a little proper work done too.
After a quick lunch, we headed back to the MBH for our annual co-owners meeting, where expenditure for the year ahead was to be decided. The meeting (held under the trees - so not a stuffy falling asleep kind of meeting) was a little longer than we'd expected... but wound up with a rather old bottle of wine, so could have been worse! That much french (6 hours) ranging across so many different subjects really tires me out, so all we could cope with back home was a few episodes of 'Big Bang Theory' and an early night. Here's a large (180g/6.25 oz) tomato I found on the plant. It's a bit bashed about, but I'm assured by Mr B that it will still taste wonderful.
Tomorrow will be a mad busy morning (our roofers start tomorrow at the delightful time of 7am - you can imagine how happy our neighbours were to hear that...) then a relaxing afternoon as friends are arriving at lunchtime.
Couple of backblips:
