party preparations

It's Eve's 1st birthday party today. 1 years old! A year is a funny space in time - on one hand it feels like only yesterday she was born, tiny wee, the spitting image of her mum. On the other hand though - it feels like an absolute age.

This is Bry icing the fairy cakes I made for the party.

I hate baking. I love cooking, but I hate baking and I especially hate the decoration stage. It is through something like this that I realise that Bry and I have our own unique strengths and we shouldn't mess about with that.

My baker's gloves are therefore, well and truly hung up...hurrah.
